Viet Nam, Swaziland set up diplomatic ties

(VGP – 22/05/2013) - Viet Nam and Swaziland on May 21 at the Head Office of the Permanent Mission of Viet Nam to the United Nations in New York signed a Joint Communiqué on the establishment of diplomatic ties between the two countries.
 
Ambassador Le Hoai Trung, Viet Nam’s Permanent Representative to the UN and Ambassador Zwelethu Mnisi, Swaziland’s Permanent Representative to the UN said the event marked a new development in the bilateral relations and met respective desire to consolidate and develop mutually beneficial relations.
 
Two sides have agreed to exchange diplomatic representatives at the Ambassadorial level.

The provisions of the Vienna Convention of 1961 on Diplomatic Relations will apply to the diplomatic relations between Viet Nam and Swaziland .

The Joint Communiqué will be sent to the UN Secretary-General to be circulated as a document of the UN and notified to the Member States of the United Nations./.
