(MOFA) - The COVID-19 has been spreading swiftly on a large scale across the globe, and become increasingly complex. To strengthen measures against the COVID-19 spread in the interest of public health, the Vietnamese Government has decided to temporarily suspend its unilateral visa waiver for citizens of Denmark, Norway, Finland, Sweden, United Kingdom, Germany, France and Spain. The temporary suspension takes effect from 00:00, 12 March 2020.

Viet Nam has informed the above-mentioned countries of the decision, and will maintain close collaboration with other countries, international organizations and partners in efforts to prevent and control the COVID-19./.
