7. Tran Duc Thach
When and why were they arrested?
Answer:
“According to the information available to us , on 8, 10 and 13 September 2008, the Department of Security and Investigation of the Ministry of Public Security arrested and detained Ngo Quynh (born in 1984, living in Bac Giang), Nguyen Xuan Nghia (born in 1949, living in Hai Phong), Pham Van Troi (born in 1972, living in Hanoi), Nguyen Van Tuc (born in 1964, living in Thai Binh), Tran Duc Thach (born in 1962, living in Nghe An) for violation of Vietnamese laws.
The investigation and litigation are being done in conformity with the litigation procedure of the laws.
Pham Thanh Nghiem (born in 1977, living in Hai Phong) was not arrested.”
