Vietnam - Bolivia Relations
Vietnam established diplomatic relations with Bolivia on October 2nd, 1987. To the present, the Vietnamese Embassy in Brazil is also serving as the Vietnamese Embassy to Bolivia. Bolivia supported Vietnam for its admission to the WTO and its candidature for the non-permanent seat of the UNSC for the 2008-2009 term. The bilateral economic-commercial relations are on a limited scale, but there are enormous potentials in the field of energy and gas.
