Viet Nam 's northern mountainous province of Lao Cai is working hard to wrap up the demarcation and planting of border markers it shares with China . Lao Cai was charged with installing 63 markers on the 193 km border that houses 144 km of river border and 49 km of land border.

To date, 90 percent of the workload, which began in 2002, has been completed.(VNA)
