Viet Nam, RoK work on corruption
Chief Government Inspector Tran Van Truyen has met with Chairman of the Republic of Korea’s Board of Audit and Inspection Yeon Yun-churl to discuss anti-corruption work and the inspection and the settlement of cases relating to public property losses.
During their talks on October 15 in the RoK, Chairman Yeon Yun-churl said that corruption is a complicated issue in the RoK and that the nation’s judicial and legislative sectors have embarked on a series of measures to minimise the impacts of corruption on the country’s development.
“The RoK is willing to share its experiences and introduce its models to Viet Nam ,” said the RoK official.
The RoK official also told his guest that his country has taken measures to create favourable conditions for Vietnamese brides to better integrate into the RoK community.
He expressed his hope that the two countries’ relevant agencies, including the inspection sector, will closely cooperate to settle problems arising in the Vietnamese brides’ marriage based on the two countries’ laws, traditions and customs.-(VNA)
