Thai community donates 100 mln VND to disadvantaged children
The Thai Embassy and the Thai community in Viet Nam have donated 100 million VND raised from a current cultural and charity event to help Viet Nam’s disadvantaged children.
According to the embassy, the money from the “Thailand Day” held in Ha Noi last month, was handed over to the National Fund for Vietnamese Children and the Blue Dragon Children’s Fund respectively on December 18 and 19. Each fund received 50 million VND.
The embassy said that the Thai community wanted to share difficulties with disadvantaged Vietnamese children. (VNA)
