French gov’t to grant scholarships to 30 Vietnamese students
The French Senate and the Ministry of Education will grant scholarships to 30 Vietnamese students on November 9.
The scholarships, valued at US$21.8 each, will be granted to the highest performing students from universities in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Hue, Da Nang and Can Tho.
The scholarships will be given mainly to students in science and French faculties, and will be awarded based on university entrance exams scores.
The students receiving the awards are expected to seek master’s degrees in France after completing their bachelor's degrees in Vietnam.
These are the first scholarships awarded to Vietnamese students by the French Senate. (Thanh Nien)
