Ha Noi (VNA) - Viet Nam and Hungary will exchange students, teachers and information, and encourage educational institutions to embark on cooperation.

To the effect, Vietnamese Education and Training Deputy Minister Tran Van Nhung and Hungarian Vice State Secretary Medgyes Peter inked a plan on Monday focussing on cooperation in education and training in 2004-05 and 2005-06 academic years.

In 2004, the Hungarian government granted Viet Nam official development assistance (ODA), including scholarships to enable Vietnamese students to study international relations, economics and law in Hungary. Since 2004, Corvinus University has provided scholarships to Vietnamese students to study business administration.
