Deputy PM welcomes Cambodian Religious Affairs Minister
Ha Noi (VNA) - Deputy Prime Minister Pham Gia Khiem has highlighted the significance of Cambodian Minister of Religions and Cults Khun Haing's visit to Viet Nam, describing it as an opportunity for the two countries to promote friendly relations, particularly in religious affairs.
During his reception of visiting Minister Khun Haing and his delegation in Ha Noi on Tuesday, Khiem stressed that the national development. Viet Nam will pursue the policy of freedom in religious beliefs, building national unity and caring for the people's physical and spiritual life.
Minister Khun Hang praised Viet Nam's religious policy and spoke about the plan for long-term cooperation between his ministry and the Vietnamese Government's Committee for Religious Affairs. He expressed his hope that the Vietnamese Government will help implement the cooperation programme.
