Vietnamese, Lao provinces boost border security cooperation
Vientiane, Feb. 8 (VNA) - The Military Command of Central Quang Binh province and its counterpart in Laos' Khammouane province agreed to increase their cooperation in stopping criminal activity to ensure security along the common borderline.
This was stated in the minutes of a meeting signed during a visit by Colonel Nguyen Quoc Tri, Commander of the Quang Binh provincial Military Command, to Khammouane province on Feb. 8.
Additionally, the two sides also agreed to continue cooperating in searching for the remains of fallen Vietnamese experts and volunteers in Khammouane province./.
