Ha Noi takes aim at strong economic ties with Tokyo
Tokyo (VNA)- Ha Noi has discussed projects on a water plant and a 1,000 bed hospital with Japanese industrial conglomerates during a visit to Japan by a group of senior officials from Viet Nam's capital city, which began on Feb. 20.
The delegation, led by the municipal Party Committee's Deputy Secretary Hoang Van Nghien, also sought for the transfer of technology and expertise, as well as cooperation in education, vocational training and labour export from Japan during its working session with Tokyo's Department for Industry and Labour. Trade, investment and information technology were also discussed during their talks.
The delegation planned to further conduct market surveys in Tokyo and also discussed a programme of bilateral cooperation during the visit./.
