Party leader highlights exchange of experiences between Viet Nam and Laos
Ha Noi (VNA) - General Secretary Nong Duc Manh of the Communist Party of Viet Nam Central Committee (CPVCC) highlighted the exchange of experiences between Viet Nam and Laos during his meeting with visiting Politburo member of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party (LPRP) and permanent Deputy Prime Minister Bouasone Bouphavanh in Ha noi on Mar. 13.
"The exchange of experiences between agencies of the Vietnamese and Lao Parties and States has contributed to enhancing mutual understanding and consolidating the special friendship, solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between the two countries," Manh said.
He extended his congratulations to President Khamtay Siphandone and other Party and State leaders of Laos on the upcoming 50th founding anniversary of the LPRP.
After praising Laos' achievements in the renewal process, the Vietnamese Party leader expressed his belief that the Lao people under the leadership of the LPRP and President Khamtay Siphandone would certainly gain greater achievements under the Resolution of the LPRP's 7th congress, and successfully build a country of peace, independence, democracy, unity and prosperity.
Lao Deputy PM Bouasone Bouphavanh briefed General Secretary Manh about the results of the Lao Party delegation's talks with a Vietnamese Party delegation led by Politburo member and Secretary of the CPVCC Tran Dinh Hoan. He conveyed President Khamtay Siphandone's best regards to Party General Secretary Nong Duc Manh and other Vietnamese Party and State leaders.
Bouasone Bouphavanh presented the Issara Order (first class), a noble distinction of the Lao Party and State, to the CPVCC's Commission for Personnel Organisation for its contributions to the strengthenging of Viet Nam-Laos relations./.
