Vice President receives Chilean guest
Hoa expressed her delight at meeting a noted veteran of the Chilean youth's movements to support Viet Nam's resistance war against the US, saying that the Vietnamese people would never forget the Chilean friends' support further. She also expressed the hope that the Chile-Viet Nam Culture Institute would continue to serve as a bridge to connect the two nations in cultural exchange, scientific research as well as economic development.
Ms Munos said one of her institute's tasks was to increase cultural exchanges between the two countries in order to boost economic development. The institute in the near future would disseminate more information on Viet Nam to tighten relations between the two peoples, she said.
The same day, Ms Munos had talks with Chairwoman of the Viet Nam Women's Union Ha Thi Khiet. The two sides expressed their desire to boost bilateral exchange in order to strengthen relations between Vietnamese and Chilean women.
