Vietnamese Party delegation on Laos visit
A delegation of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee's Commission for Culture and Ideology led by Deputy Chairman Vo Hong Nhan is on a week-long visit to Laos from May 22.
The Vietnamese delegation was received on May 23 by Mounkeo Olabun, member of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party Central Committee, who welcomed the delegation to Laos at a time when the two peoples are marking President Ho Chi Minh's 115th Birthday.
The host expressed his joy at the close co-operation between the Lao Party's Propaganda and Education Commission and the Vietnamese counterpart in the recent period. He said he believed that the co-operation will continue for the political and ideological awareness among people of all walks of life, especially the young generations.
Earlier, the Vietnamese delegation held a working session with a delegation of the host Commission. The two sides informed each other of the situation in their respective countries and their work.
The delegation made a tour of several economic and cultural establishments in Vientiane capital city, Vientiane and Luang Prabang province.
