Vietnamese legislators visit Japan
(VNA) - A delegation of the National Assembly's Committee for Science, Technology and Environment, led by its deputy chairman Vu Minh Mao, visited Japan from June 19-26 to study Japan's law on electronic transaction and its law on environmental protection.
The visit is important for the committee's external relations and law making-activities this year.
During its stay in Japan, the delegation worked with relevant agencies in the Japanese House of Representatives, and met with officials of the Ministry of Environment and the Ministry of Economy and Industry. The two sides exchanged views on enforcing the law on environmental protection, policies on waste treatment, and experiences in building and managing e-government, e-signature and e-commerce.
The delegation also talked with suppliers of services in e-certification, e-commerce and telecommunications in Tokyo and Osaka city.
