NA leader meets Lao legislators
(VNA) - National Assembly Vice Chairman Truong Quang Duoc affirmed that Viet Nam's legislature has always paid attention to strengthening and promoting cooperation with its Lao counterpart.
He made the affirmation in Ha Noi on June 27 during his meeting with Thonphanh Chanthalanonh, Chairwoman of the Lao National Assembly's Socio-Culture Commission, who is currently on a working visit to Viet Nam.
The Vietnamese NA leader told his guest that he has been pleased with the cooperation between the Vietnamese NA's Committee for Social Affairs and the Lao NA's Socio-Culture Commission over the recent past.
He expressed hope that the two governing bodies will increase cooperation in the future to help deepen their relations.
