Royal Thai Army Commander-in-Chief concludes Viet Nam visit

(VNA) - A delegation of the Royal Thai Army, led by its Commander-in-Chief General Prawit Wongsuwon, has wrapped up a two-day friendship visit to Viet Nam.

On July 12, General Prawit was welcomed by Sen. Lt. Gen. Phung Quang Thanh and Lt. Gen. Nguyen Huu Kham, Chief and Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Viet Nam People's Army, respectively.

The Thai general said he hoped the delegation's visit will help further consolidate the two armies' friendship.

While in Viet Nam, the delegation paid a floral tribute to President Ho Chi Minh at his mausoleum, and visited President Ho's residence.
