Vietnam and Hungary enjoy great potential for bilateral co-operation
(VNA): Deputy Prime Minister Vu Khoan has said Vietnam and Hungary are able to expand bilateral co-operation to various areas such as energy, automobile assembling, pharmaceuticals, and mineral mining.
Deputy PM Khoan, speaking with Hungarian Minister of Economics and Transportation Janos Koka in a reception in Hanoi on July 21, also expressed wish to receive Hungary's further assistance in personnel training for information technology.
Co-operation agreements just signed between the two countries marked a new step of development in Vietnam-Hungary relations, Deputy PM Khoan said, adding the two sides should continue discussions to work out effective measures to accelerate the implementation of agreements reached during the current visit to Vietnam by the Hungarian Prime Minister.
He noted that boosting trade ties with Hungary will help Vietnam-made goods enter the European Union market.
The Hungarian minister proposed that chairmen of the two countries' sub-committees for bilateral co-operation meet in the near future to define ways to boost bilateral co-operation. Also, the two Governments should promulgate financial and investment incentives to strengthen business ties.
