Vietnam to do utmost to strengthen traditional ties with Hungary
(VNA): Vietnam values its co-operative ties with Hungary greatly, and will do its utmost to develop the relationship for the benefit of the two peoples and for peace, stability and development in the world, General Secretary Nong Duc Manh told Hungarian Prime Minister Gyucsany Ferenc, who began his official visit to Vietnam on July 20.
Party leader Manh said PM Gyucsany Ferenc's visit is a manifestation of the fine traditional relations between Vietnam and Hungary. He briefed the Hungarian Prime Minister of Vietnam's situation, tasks that the entire Vietnamese party and people are focusing on and Vietnam's foreign policy of independence, self-determination, openness and diversification and building multilateral ties. He said Vietnam attaches importance to developing friendly and co-operative ties with its traditional friends.
He highly appreciated the support and precious assistance from the Hungarian people to Vietnam in the national construction and defence.
Hungarian Prime Minister Gyucsany Ferenc expressed his joy at visiting Vietnam and witnessing the great achievements of the Vietnamese people in their renovation process, and praised Vietnam's growing prestige and role in Southeast Asia and the world.
The Hungarian PM affirmed that Hungary would continue boosting the traditional friendly and co-operative ties with Vietnam.
