Get-together for Vietnamese involved with 16th World Youth Festival
(VNA) - A get-together was held in Ha Noi between Ha Noi's youth and students, foreign students studying in the capital city and 135 delegates of Viet Nam to the upcoming 16th World Youth and Students Festival.
The meeting, entitled "Vietnamese youth with the 16th World Youth and Students Festival", was organised by the Secretariat of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee (HCM Communist Youth Union).
The event was attended by Dao Ngoc Dung, First Secretary of the HCM Communist Youth Union, Chairman of the Viet Nam National Committee for Youth and head of the Vietnamese delegation to the world festival; and Tran Dac Loi, Vice President and general secretary of the Viet Nam Union of Friendship Organisations. They spoke about the 16th Festival and Viet Nam's contributions to world youth festivals. Members of the Vietnamese delegation to the festival expressed their sentiments towards world youth and messages they will bring to the festival.
Participants of the get-together exchanged views and performed songs and dances together.
