NA Chairman Nguyen Van An receives Lao Supreme People's Procuracy Director
(VNA): National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Van An received a delegation of the Lao Supreme People's Procuracy, led by its Director Bounpon Sangomsak, in Hanoi on August.
Chairman An stressed that Vietnam and Laos are bound by special friendly relations and that the Parties, States, relevant agencies and peoples of the two sides are actively arranging regular visits to share experiences and strengthen ties. Chairman An praised the outcomes of the Lao delegation's visit to Vietnam, during which the two side held effective working sessions on implementing special mutual assistance policies for the benefits of each country.
Director Bounpon Sangsonsak informed Chairman An of his activities in Vietnam. The two Supreme People's Procuracies held a workshop affirming traditional relations between the two sides, he said, and added that his visit focuses on studying Vietnam's concrete experiences. He went on to say that the Lao Supreme People's Procuracy needs to renew itself in commensurate with social development.
