Vietnam and Laos find ways to boost ties
(VNA): Vietnamese and Lao officials from presidential offices have agreed on measures to bolster co-operation in the coming time during a current visit to Laos by Nguyen Van Chien, Director of the Vietnam Presidential Office.
During the five-day visit, which started on August 10, Director Chien was received by Lao Vice President Choumaly Sayasone in Vientiane on August 11.
The Lao Vice President told his guest that he was satisfied with recent developments in co-operative ties between the two countries and highly valued the support and practical assistance that Vietnam has given to Laos.
He hailed the guest's visit as a contribution to enhancing co-operation between the two countries.
