Lao and Vietnamese party newspapers strengthen ties
In his reception for a delegation from the Nhan Dan newspaper in Vientiane recently, the Lao official said that the two newspapers - the voice of the Communist Party of Viet Nam and the Lao People's Revolutionary Party - have extended mutual assistance and cooperation during the past struggle for national liberation and in the present process of national construction and defence in their respective countries.
Deputy Minister Khekkeo Soysaya praised contributions made by the two newspapers to disseminating their Parties' line and State policies to the people from all walks of life. The newspapers have also helped encourage the people to make active contributions to the renewal cause in the respective countries, and have boosted the special friendship, solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between the two Parties, States and people of Viet Nam and Laos, the official added.
