Deputy PM Vu Khoan welcomes Cambodian transport delegation
Vu Khoan welcomed his guest and said he highly appreciated the transport cooperation between Viet Nam and Cambodia, especially the construction of Highway 18 linking Cambodia's northeastern region and Viet Nam's central highlands Gia Lai province.
He also said he hoped the cooperation in construction and transport development between the two countries will continue to boost their economic development, and especially exchanges among countries in the Sub-Mekong region.
For his part, Minister Sun Chanthon informed the Vietnamese Deputy Prime Minister about the results of negotiations and cooperation between two countries' transport ministries.
Viet Nam and Cambodia's cooperation in implementing transport projects has gained noteworthy results such as the project on upgrading Cambodia's Road 78.
At present, the two countries are speeding up the signing of a protocol on the implementation of the Road Transport Agreement.
