Canadian Consul General honoured for contributions to charitable activities
(VNA) - The Viet Nam UNESCO Clubs Association honoured Canadian Consul General Sanjeev Chowdhury on October 13 for his contributions to charitable activities in Viet Nam and for promoting cultural exchanges and friendship between the Canadian and Vietnamese people.
Sanjeev Chowdhury is the first foreign diplomat who has been honoured by the Viet Nam UNESCO Clubs Association (VUCA).
He is the newest honorary member of the VUCA, which has more than 100,000 members, including 3,000 official members and 11 honorary members.
Comprising more than 100 UNESCO clubs and centres, the Viet Nam UNESCO Clubs Association is one of the biggest UNESCO associations in Asia./.
