Viet Nam offers to help Mozambique in agricultural sciences

(VNA)- Viet Nam is willing to share experience with Mozambique in science and technology, especially scientific applications in agriculture.

The offer was made by Deputy Prime Minister Pham Gia Khiem on Dec. 15. while meeting Minister of Sciences and Technology Venancio Simao Massingue of Mozambique, who is on a visit to Viet Nam.

In reply, the guest thanked Deputy PM Khiem for the offers, which he said would be valuable to Mozambique's needs for techniques in dyke construction and wet rice farming.

These would help Mozambique meet its domestic demand for food and fully tap its natural resources in the years to come, said the Mozambican Minister.
