National Assembly chairman of Viet Nam and RoK open Korean calligraphy exhibition

(VNA) - Viet Nam's National Assembly (NA) chairman Nguyen Van An and the Republic of Korea (RoK)'s NA Speaker Kim Won-ki, cut the ribbon to open an exhibition featuring Korean calligraphy renditions of "Diary in Prison" by President Ho Chi Minh in Ha Noi on Jan. 15.

On display at the 10-day exhibition are more than 70 calligraphy works created by over 30 famous Korean calligraphers.

The exhibition is jointly organised by the Ho Chi Minh Museum, the RoK Committee for Organising Calligraphy Exhibition and the Viet Nam-RoK Friendship Association.

After the exhibition, the collection will be presented to the Ho Chi Minh Museum to be put on display.

Earlier, similar exhibitions were organised in Mokpo city of the RoK, Ho Chi Minh City and the central province of Nghe An./.
