Mozambique's President hopes for Viet Nam's agricultural assistance

(VNA) - President Armando Guebuza of Mozambique said he hopes to welcome Vietnamese experts to boost the country's agriculture sector.

While receiving Vietnamese Ambassador to the Republic of South Africa and the People's Republic of Mozambique Tran Duy Thi on March 13, President Guebuza spoke highly of the effective and practical contributions of Vietnamese health and education experts to the country and people of Mozambique over the past years.

He also said he appreciated Viet Nam's role in the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and in the East Asian region and praised the country's great achievements in the renewal process over the past 20 years.

President Guebuza said that he will prepare for his official visit to Viet Nam at the invitation of Vietnamese President Tran Duc Luong in order to strengthen cooperation between the two countries.

Ambassador Thi expressed his belief that the multi-faceted cooperation between the two countries will be continuously developed, especially in economics and trade./.
