Nearly 500 journalists to cover Party congress
Nearly 500 journalists, about 100 of them foreign, will cover the tenth National Congress of the Communist Party of Viet Nam, held at the Ba Dinh Hall in Ha Noi from April 18-25.
A 24-hour press centre has been set up with three areas: domestic press, foreign press and office areas.
The centre has a press hall of 400 seats for jounalists. It is also equipped with 130 computers with Internet connections and 30 printers in addition to six fax machines, ten fixed telephone lines, and eight screens of 50-250 inches.
The centre will be responsible for delivering documents of the congress to the journalists while Viet Nam News Agency will provide photos to them.(VNA)
