UN chief wraps up Viet Nam visit
United Nations Secretary General Kofi Annan and his wife left Ha Noi in the evening of May 25, ending their three-day official visit to Viet Nam.
The UN chief was given a farewell ceremony at the Noi Bai International Airport by Nguyen Van Chien, Minister and Head of the Presidential Office, and many diplomatic officials.
Earlier, Secretary General Annan and his wife visited several ancient streets as well as other historical and cultural sites, including the Ngoc Son Temple and the Temple of Literature, in Ha Noi.
Ms. Nane Annan also called at the Viet Nam Museum of Ethnology.(VNA)
