Pakistani Foreign Minister sympathises with typhoon victims

The Pakistani Foreign Minister Mahmooh Kasuri on June 2 sent a message of condolences to the Foreign Minister Nguyen Dy Nien over the lives lost when Typhoon Chanchu struck Viet Nam.

The Pakistani FM said he was sad to be informed of the heavy loss of life and property caused by Typhoon Chanchu.

"I would like to express my deepest sympathies to families of those who were killed in Typhoon Chanchu," the Pakistani diplomat said.

- The Vietnamese embassy and Vietnamese community in India on June 2 raised nearly 1,000 USD to help victims of Typhoon Chanchu in central Quang Ngai, Quang Nam provinces and Da Nang city.
