Former Vietnamese students in Paris assist homeland

A group of former Vietnamese students of the University of Paris X held a meeting in Paris on June 24 to discuss ways to boost scientific and technological cooperation between Vietnamese and French businesses.

During the meeting, Vietnamese Ambassador Nguyen Dinh Bin praised the former students' initiative to boost cultural and sci-tech exchanges between Viet Nam and France. He outlined Viet Nam's achievements over the past 20 years and stressed that Viet Nam's prestige has been improved in the international arena.

Marc Dupuy, Director of a French agency for the observation of advanced technology, shared his experiences with the Vietnamese former student group. He affirmed that the French people are always prepared to support and assist Viet Nam.

The University of Paris X, one of France's most well-known universities, enrolled more than 100 Vietnamese students between 1954 and 1995.(VNA)
