First 60 Vietnamese citizens evacuated from Lebanon
(VNA) - The first group of 60 Vietnamese citizens left war-ravaged Lebanon's capital city of Beirut for Syria on August 2 at 9:15 local time (13:15 Ha Noi time) by road and from there to fly to Viet Nam.
The information was announced by the Vietnamese Ministry of Foreign Affairs on the same day.
Tran Viet Tu, a counselor at the Vietnamese Embassy in Egypt, has accompanied the group to the Lebanon-Syria border to help facilitate procedures, the ministry added./.
