Switzerland-Viet Nam Association President decorated
The President of the Switzerland-Viet Nam Friendship Association, Ajjuska Weil, was awarded the Friendship Order by the Vietnamese State in recognition of her contribution to strengthening the two countries' solidarity.
On behalf of President Nguyen Minh Triet, the Vietnamese Ambassador to Switzerland Nguyen Ngoc Son presented the Order to Anjuska Weil, who is also member of the Presidium of the Swiss Labour Party, in Zurich, on the occasion of her 60th birthday on Sept. 16.
Ambassador Son highlighted the valuable contribution made by Anjuska Weil to Viet Nam's past struggle for national reunification and development over the past 40 years.
Anjuska pledged to continue to do her utmost to promote friendship between the two peoples.(VNA)
