Viet Nam-Switzerland diplomatic anniversary marked in Switzerland
A celebration for the 35th anniversary of the establishment of the Viet Nam-Switzerland diplomatic ties was held by the Vietnamese Embassy in Berne on Oct. 11.
Addressing the ceremony, Vietnamese Ambassador Nguyen Ngoc Son and Head of the Swiss Federal Foreign Affairs Department's Political Affairs Division Combernous expressed their pleasure at the fine cooperation between the two countries over the past years.
They said they hoped that bilateral cooperation, especially in economic, trade and investment, would be boosted.
On the occasion, an artistic performance was held at the Kultur Berne theatre.
Cultural and artistic activities to mark the event will also be organised in Geneva and Zurich.(VNA)
