PM congratulates UN on anniversary
He said he appreciated the United Nations agencies' enthusiastic assistance as well as cooperation with Viet Nam over the past years and wished UN agencies to continue cooperating with Viet Nam in all fields.
The Vietnamese government leader spoke highly of the reforms being carried out by the UN and its agencies in Viet Nam and the way that UN agencies are working with Viet Nam in making policies, reducing poverty and fighting bird flu.
UN Resident Co-ordinator in Viet Nam John Hendra praised the Vietnamese Government for achievements in economic development, the fight against corruption and bird flu, and poverty eradication.
He also made recommendations to help Viet Nam obtain a sustainable growth in the future./.
