Chinese President visits Da Nang city
Hu Jintao, General Secretary of the Communist Party of China and President of the People's Republic of China, and his wife arrived the central city of Da Nang on Nov. 15, the first leg in his official visit to Viet Nam.
The visit precedes his attending the 14th APEC Economic Leaders' Meeting in Ha Noi by the Chinese leader.
Hu, who was accompanied by several senior officials of the Chinese Communist Party and government, visited the Hong Kong owned Matrix toy factory in the city's Hoa Khanh industrial park.
Hu had an exchange of views with Secretary of the municipal Party Committee Nguyen Ba Thanh and Chairman of the municipal People's Committee Tran Van Minh.
