Viet Nam tries its best to facilitate foreign investment

The Vietnamese Government and people are trying their best to create a favourable environment for foreign investors, State President Nguyen Minh Triet told newly-accredited ambassadors at separate receptions in Ha Noi on Feb. 1.

The President's guests were Ambassadors Brendan Lyons from Ireland, Lal Thla Muana from India, Platon Alexis Hadjimichalis from Greece, Abdulla Ibrahim Al-Hamar from Qatar, and Andreas Zenonos from Cyprus.

President Triet said Vietnamese ministries, sectors and relevant agencies are fully prepared to cooperate, assist and share experiences with countries for expanding bilateral as well as multilateral relations. He expressed his belief that comprehensive cooperation between Viet Nam and other countries will continue to prosper.

The ambassadors expressed their pleasure to begin their missions in Viet Nam at a time when the country is becoming a more and more attractive destination for foreign investors thus continuously improving its image on the international arena.
