Viet Nam assumes WTO tasks in int'l negotiations

(VNA) - The Trade Ministry has sent letters to organisations, enterprises and individuals on talks with countries and territories' negotiating for WTO accession.

The ministry asked the recipients to give their opinions on issues relating to negotiations with those countries and territories to develop its point of view while negotiating with partners.

Since Viet Nam became a full member of WTO on Jan. 11, it assumed the task to hold talks with countries and territories' negotiating for WTO accession.

At present, 28 countries and territories are negotiating to become members of the WTO./.
