Swiss Group asks for permission to invest in Phu Quoc island |

(VNA) - The Trustee Suisse from Switzerland has asked for permission to build a 2.64 billion USD "Asian Pearl" project in Phu Quoc island, off the southwestern province of Kien Giang.

Designed to cover 200ha in northern Phu Quoc, the project will include a financial centre, and a residential quarter and a tourism complex.
Earlier, the Limited Investments Zone from Texas, the US, asked for permission to invest 2 billion USD in building a complex, including a Las Vegas-styled casino and hotel, privately-owned flats, a cinema and other entertainment facilities and a high-quality hospital on the island./. |
