Viet Nam wishes to boost ties with Poland

(VNA) - Viet Nam attaches great importance to developing the traditional friendship and all-around cooperation with countries in Central and Eastern Europe, including Poland, affirmed Deputy Prime Minister-cum-Foreign Minister Pham Gia Khiem.

The Deputy PM made the affirmation while receiving Pawel Zalewski, a special envoy of the Polish Prime Minister in Ha Noi on May 21.

Deputy PM Khiem expressed his delights at positive progress in the relations between the two countries. He said, however, that bilateral economic, trade and investment ties are yet to match their political relations and potentials.

For his part, the special envoy affirmed Poland's policy to further intensify cooperation with Viet Nam in various fields for the benefits of the two countries./.
