Party leader departs for four visits in Latin America
(VNA) - Party General Secretary Nong Duc Manh left for his first of four official visits to Latin American countries on May 24.
His visits are made at the invitations of Chilean President Michelle Bachelet Jeria, Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez Frias and Cuban First Secretary of the Communist Party Central Committee Fidel Castro, also the countrys President of the Council of State and Council of Ministers.
The Party General Secretary is accompanied by Nguyen Sinh Hung, Politburo member and Permanent Deputy Prime Minister and other senior officials./.
