Communist parties of Vietnam, Spain to forge cooperation
A senior official from the Communist Party of Spain (CPS) said his party will do its utmost to promote the relationship between Viet Nam and Spain.
Director of the Commission for External Relations of the CPS Jose Luis made the affirmation during his meeting with Politburo member of the Communist Party of Viet Nam Central Committee (CPVCC) Truong Tan Sang in Ha Noi on July 30.
Jose spoke highly of the Vietnamese Party and State’s prestige on the international arena and the Vietnamese Party and people’s renewal achievements.
He singled out the results of his working session with the Vietnamese counterparts and hoped to further promote the traditional cooperation and solidarity between the two parties and peoples.
Sang affirmed the consistent policy of the Vietnamese Party, State and people to consolidate the solidarity and friendship between the two parties and the cooperation between the two peoples for peace, national independence, democracy and social progress worldwide.
Earlier the same day, Jose and his delegation held talks with Director of the CPVCC’s Commission for External Relations Nguyen Van Son.
While in Viet Nam, the Spanish delegation is set to hold working sessions with leaders of the Communist Party Office, the Viet Nam General Confederation of Labour and the Viet Nam Women’s Union.-(VNA)
