Vietnam to create favorable conditions for Indonesian enterprises in Vietnam
On August 8th, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung attended the Vietnam-Indonesia business forum, which was held under the joint coordination of the two countries’ chambers of commerce and industry.
Addressing at the forum, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung emphasized the time-honored relationships between the two countries, especially since the two sides signed a Joint Declaration on friendly and comprehensive cooperation for the 21st century in 2003. The declaration was an important legal basis to take the two countries’ relationships to a new height, particularly in the economy and trade and investment.
Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung affirmed that the Vietnamese government would create favorable conditions for Indonesian enterprises to develop strongly in Vietnam, bringing pratical benefit for both countries’ peoples.
After the forum, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung witnessed a signing of cooperative agreements between the Vietnamese and Indonesian Chambers of Commerce and Industry.
On August 9th, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung and his wife lay a wreath at the Monument for Indonesian heroes and talk with officials from the Vietnamese Embassy in Indonesia. On the same day, the prime minister will also receive several big Indonesian corporations; visit the ASEAN Secretariat and deliver a speech on the occasion of 40th anniversary of ASEAN’s establishment.
