Swiss agro-industrial giant keen on coffee exporting
The Louis Dreyfus Commodities Agro-industrial Company of Switzerland has received a license to process and export coffee in Gia Lai province in the country’s coffee-growing heartland in the Central Highlands.
The Louis Dreyfus Commodities Viet Nam company will produce between 30-50 million tones of coffee during its operation duration of 47 years. It expects to earn between 50-100 million USD in profits and employ 100 workers.
Located at the Tra Da Industrial Zone in Pleiku city, the company has invested 1.5 million USD in a state-of-the-art processing line and will start operations in October this year.-(VNA)
