First batch of visa exemptions issued in Holland
Eight Vietnamese residing in the Netherlands became the proud owners of visa exemption certificates that were granted by the Vietnamese Embassy in the country on September 4.
Dang Van Dam, one of the first recipients, said the policy helps facilitate the return of Vietnamese living overseas and encourage them to contribute more to the national development.
Earlier, the Embassy held a ceremony to mark the 62nd National Day of Viet Nam (September 2).
More than 350 representatives from the Dutch parliament, ministries and businesses, international organisations and overseas Vietnamese community attended the event.-(VNA)
