Ha Noi travel agencies survey Argentina, Brazil
Leaders from the member travel agencies of the Ha Noi Tourism Association have wrapped up their eight-day fact-finding tour to Argentina and Brazil.
While in Latin America from September 2-9, the Vietnamese delegation visited a number of tourist resorts and hotels in the Argentinian capital of Buenos Aires and embarked on sightseeing trip in Rio de Janeiro city in Brazil.
The Vietnamese delegation held working sessions with the Garbarino Viajes travel firm of Garbarino, a leading Argentinian tourism provider.
They also met with Alejandro Garcia, Director of the Argentinian Tourism Ministry’s International Relations Department, and Jorge Giberti, who is in charge of the Buenos Aires tourism sector. Both sides expressed their wish that the two countries’ tourism businesses should promote greater cooperation.
In Foz do Iguaou city of Brazil, the delegation was received by its Mayor Paulo Mac Donald.
President of the Ha Noi Tourism Association Nguyen Quang Lan told a Vietnam News Agency correspondent that the city’s tourism development programme is looking to turn tourism into one of the key sectors of the country’s economic. (VNA)
