Among ASEAN countries, Viet Nam is a spotlight destination for Thai investors, Wittaya Supatanakul, Bangkok Bank's adviser on Viet Nam, has said.
According to Wittaya, who used to work in Viet Nam as a general director of the Bangkok Bank’s branch in Ho Chi Minh City, in the eye of Thai investors, Viet Nam is more attractive than other ASEAN nations at many aspects.
Viet Nam has a low but highly skilled labour force, while the socio-political situation in the country is stable, the bank adviser said in his recent articles on the Bangkok Post.
Moreover, over the past years, Viet Nam’s economic growth rate is high and the country really welcomes foreign investors, he stressed.
Thai investors could pour their money into the tourist industry in Viet Nam, where many landscapes need investment to develop, Wittaya said.
In addition, automobile and motorbike industries are the sectors that investors from Thailand should pay attention to, he advised his countrymen. (VNA)
