Viet Nam, Cuba look to cooperation in light industries
Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Sinh Hung received Cuba’s Minister of Light Industry Jose Hernandez Bernardez in Ha Noi on Oct. 2.
The deputy PM assured his guest of Viet Nam’s willingness to collaborate with Cuba in the sectors which both countries are strong at.
Viet Nam will invest into the construction of a plant to produce electric-saving light bulbs in Cuba, while Cuba will boost cooperation in health, drug and education with Viet Nam, said Hung.
Minister Bernardez’s visit to Viet Nam aims to strengthen bilateral cooperation in light industries such as garment, footwear, chemical cosmetic and consumer products. (VNA)
